LIGHT IS
FUNCTIONALITY

WHEN ART
MEETS
ENGINEERING.

For us lighting is a form of expression.
Lighting can define a space; it puts us in the right frame of mind as soon as we enter; it informs our behaviour.
Lighting can be warm, cold, soft or dazzling, a design feature or skillfully hidden.
But there’s a quality we never forget in all our designs: functionality.

We create innovative and flexible solutions that deliver high lighting performance
and low consumption, for an easier managment of lighting.
Modular systems, for example, where it’s possible to change individual spotlights instead of the entire track.
Because it’s not only beauty that counts, but also convenience over time.

HOTEL AQUATIS

HOTEL AQUATIS, Lausanne

Lighting design: LUCE-MS
Implementation: LUCE-MS

We often say “at first sight” when we want to explain an emotion we felt at first contact with a person, an object, or a place. To elicit such a response, a hotel reception must feel immediately welcoming. In addition to the furnishings, it’s essential to find the right lighting that combines elegance, radiance, warmth and tranquillity. At the Hotel Aquatis in Lausanne we designed and installed the illumination system, creating an original lighing effect on the counter and signage. We also created a suspended lighting system to provide direct and indirect light: a metal and fabric structure that follows the shape of the welcome desk, all with LEDs giving out a warm colour temperature.

LOUNGE BAR

GENEVA LOUNGE BAR

Lighting design: LUCE-MS
Implementation: LUCE-MS

It’s not always easy to light a floor. And it’s even more difficult if you want to create an elegant environment that is also modern, and be able to change the colour of the LEDs in a dynamic way. The light must spread evenly, projecting upwards from the floor without being blinding and without detracting attention from the bar or the guests. For the Geneva Lounge Bar we created walkable LED panels recessed in the flooring, which create a lighting effect in harmony with the counter and bar lights.

HOTEL BEAU RIVAGE

GENEVA HOTEL BEAU RIVAGE

Lighting design: LUCE-MS
Implementation: LUCE-MS

To enhance the appeal of the 5 Star Beau Rivage luxury hotel, built in 1865 on the Lake Geneva waterfront, it was essential to highlight some architectural features at night. To do this, first of all we created LED frames to highlight the cornices on the building’s floors. Then we lit the individual windows with a set of led spotlights to create a luminous veil effect. The result highlights the authentic beauty of the building.
